Microsoft has all its apps for the Apple environment but vice-versa is not there. So now Apple is taking a step to introduce a new media app for windows which will be none other than the iTunes Alternative for Windows.

A recent hiring notice for Senior Software Engineer – Windows Media Apps is popped up in Apple’s Job section for California, United States location gives us a brief idea that Apple is developing some media app for windows. The Job portal says, ” The Media Apps team is looking for a creative Senior Software Engineer to work on the next generation of media apps for Windows. You will help build innovative features that will delight millions of customers around the world. “ The job ad also calls for experience with UWP or Universal Windows Platform. As MacRumors notes, apps with UWP support would not only work on Windows 10 platforms but on Xbox One as well, which could potentially open up Apple TV+ to platforms beyond smart TVs and Apple tech, thus tapping into another potentially lucrative market for the company. It’s not clear when these new media apps for Windows will arrive, but the fact that Apple is investing in Windows 10 is good news for owners of Surface or Windows tablet devices that will benefit from new touch-friendly apps for Apple’s services.
